Application Process

The rental process is on first come, first serve basis.  The process for applying for these units is outlined below:

1.   Fill out the attached Rental Application form.  Please attach $20.00 (non-refundable) for a credit check (only one fee is required for married couples) and a photocopy of a valid state I.D. card or driver’s license.  Applications will be processed in the order that they are received.  Applicants will be notified of eligibility within two days after the application is received.

 

2.  For move in, it is necessary to pay the deposit in addition to the first month’s rent.  The security deposit is not considered last month’s rent.  There is a minimum lease of one year and month-to-month thereafter the first year.

 

3.   Approved applicants can apply for a business license as an artist.  All types of artists qualify (visual, graphic, music, written, etc..).  These licenses are granted by the City of Long Beach, Business-licensing Division.
